Ulun Danu Temple with Breathtaking Lake side view in Bali Island

If you are a super long supporter readers of mine, you surely know that I went to Bali Island last year on June and I have blogged a few place on it.

This post gonna bring you guys tour around Bedugul, a tourist attraction point.

Bedugul is the name used to cover a large area of the central highlands of Bali around the villages of Candikuning, Pancasari, Pacung and Wanagiri.

~ Xi@nG at the entrance ~

Believe me, this place is an area of great natural beauty. The focus point of the area centres on the three crater lakes of Bratan, Buyan and Tamblingan.

~ Xi@nG at the Garden ~

The whole area is at an altitude of 700 metres or more with the tallest mountain peaks above 2000 metres. It can be distinctly cold here and you can imagine that you are on Cameron Highland there.

Our tour guide brought us to this Ulun Danu Temple in Bedugul...

~ Xi@nG whole family ~

Ulun Danu Temple is a famous Hindu temple located at the lakeside of Beratan and owns the beautiful panaroma with Beratan Lake and mountain as a backdrop view.

~ Xi@nG being CooL ~

When the lake water is going up, this temple is looked like adrift above water because the water encircles it. It is situated in the cool area and mountain with breathtaking view.

~ The floating temple ~

I guess this place perhaps the most photographed temple on the island itself and definitely one of the iconic images of Bali Island.

~ Brother girl friend and him himself ~

For your information, this temple was built by the Kingdom of Mengwi as a symbol of kingdom superiority in Bali Island.

~ Xi@nG indulge in the awesome scenery ~

Coffee Paradise In Bali Island

I have to apologise for my temporary lost in blog atmosphere...
You wouldn't want to know the reason I'm not blogging...haha
Okay, lets back to my Bali tour post.....
The visit to coffee factory (small one) wasn't scheduled in our programme. We ourselves personally ask to go there and we pay for the changes...Haha....You will know later what i meant....

Basically this was the coffee beans.... Not the "Coffee Bean" shop ya....In fact,so far I just spotted one "Starbucks" in Bali island....

This is the pictures of coffee fruits.... Red one represent the fruit is ripe....

Maybe some of you know, or some dunno (I'm under the Dunno category xD), coffee bean can be categories into two main ones, flat bean an pea berry....

In short, just address them as female bean and male bean :P

Here's the workers manually separate the beans into categories....

This is the packing of flat beans..... It cost RM 22 for 100gram pack (roughly)

This is the packing of pea berry... It cost more than the flat berry...If I'm not mistaken it cost roughly RM31 for 100gram pack too...

All of us were savoured a cup of flat berry coffee with creamer and sugar....

Here comes the main attraction of the factory :)
The famous Luwak coffee....

It is the most expensive coffee in Indonesia ~ bat fruit coffee and Luwak coffee.....

Bat fruit coffee refers to the beans split ted by the bat. The beans were processed naturally with bats saliva.... Practically we drinking bats saliva :)

Don't be shock but it cost 50 USD for this 100gram packet of Bat Fruit Coffee Powder/Bean...

Luwak coffee coffee refers to the beans from the shit of wolf in Indonesia....Ya, stay calm...its poo!! The natural processed beans in wolf stomach make the beans more valuable and nutrients...We drinking shit this time xDxD

Anyway...This Luwak Coffee JUST cost 100USD for 100gram packet....
OMG, you don't even have a chance to try there....If you wanna try the taste of Luwak Coffee there, you have to pay 20 USD for a cup of Luwak Coffee... ==''

Oh ya, forgotten to mention....
Luwak Coffee is served in US only in 5 Stars Hotel...Lolx..
Every cup or packet of it comes with a certificate...

The crunching of Luwak is separate from the normal coffee beans. They have special equipment for this expensive beans!!

Me with the certificate....of course that was my dad idea to buy the 100USD Luwak Coffee. He claims that he deserved the relax and enjoyment for the tiredness :) but my mom will show a dull face for 100USD Coffee which basically can make 12 cups of coffee only...

One sip cost u at least RM 5 I guess...

I guess I have to pen off here since its 3.30am in the morning :)
Off to bed ....

Looking forward for the cat/acca prom tomorrow :)
