On 13th January 2010, Malaysian bloggers mainly Nuffnangers were invited to witness the very first Malaysia's First High Definition Television Commercial for Astro Beyond at Modesto's, Desa Sri Hartamas during the Astro B.yond Bloggers Night.

Upon registration, we were given an exclusive name tag(in sticker form) and goodies bag contain a year planner, pen and a water bottle by Astro.

There's 2 boards of spaces for bloggers to write down their New Year Resolution. I remember somebody wrote he want a girl friend and some wanna be rich. May your dreams come true people!

In the opening ceremony,

Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of Astro Mr. Henry Tan is proud to premiere us the Astro B.yond TV commercial in High Definition(HD) for Astro B.yond. Bear in mind that this television commercial is one of the longest in Malaysian television commercial history at approximately 2.30 minutes.

We can clearly look at the motions and single part of the pictures movements,items vibration and the water droplets as well. I wouldn't say it's not possible on a normal TV but it's certainly exclusive in HD TVC.

In part of that, few bloggers are invited to capture a short movie clip advertising B.yond and we can see how clearly the picture quality if any of us doubt about it on Malaysian produced movie.

* Seriously I can see the part of their face so clearly that the every single pimples as well =P *

The spectators are indulge in the HD experience and therefore Mr. Henry Tan decided to replay the TV commercial again to satisfy the bloggers eye need!

As long the night goes on, light refreshment were serve. Indeed I would say it's a heavy meal. Why? Astro is so warm to serve us with multi choice of food. From starter to desert, you definitely wouldn't get back home with a hungry stomach.

Mean while, a live music performance is put up to spice the environment and every get entertained by it =]

I spotted something in Modesto's during the night....

Nope, it's actually a game during the night and good news was the winner will walk away with 32' LG HDTV with 1 year free subscription to Astro B.yond.

All you have to do is to search for clues in few pictures provided in the bar (some underneath tables and chairs) looking for the murder and bring him/her to the host. It sounds pretty easy but believe me, I can see how frust, how despo bloggers are during the game.

Despite of the picture, the murderer scene is up for everyone to investigate as well....

The murderer is this red dress Nuffies which you never think of. They are demonstrating the murdering process on stage after the game ends.

Congratulate to the winner Mr. Eric walk away with the grand prize. I'm so envy of him....

Since I lose the game, I decided to cam whore around to kill the stress in me. I discovered that Hitomi seems wanna kiss me as you can see from the picture above! Haha... (Don't take it too serious, it's just a joke! =P)

Mean while, I saw a kid looking at the HDTV and said...

Mean while, at such events Jojo Struys will be invited as well. She dress up with a red shirt and her mission today is to announce the start of Season Alpha 2. In fact, it have started now! People out there, remember to give support to Season Alpha 2 as what me, Justin and Aaron asked people to do so in the short advertising clips.

Customers who wish to experience Astro B.yond and access to HD services have a choice to sign up at an additional service fee of RM20 per month and a commitment of 12 months. As part of the new B.yond service, customers will get the new B.Yond box, new smart card, new ourdoor dish, HD Multimedia Interdace cable and new remote control. The new set up installation fee will be waived in exchange of the current dish.
