XiangCooL CNY Reunion Dinner 2010

Hey yo people, today the last day after Chinese New Year 2010 (celebration is over) but I'm just about to start blog about what I did and so on during CNY. I thinks it's pretty late but who cares right? =P

My grandmother made it a culture that each of her son take turns to host the reunion dinner every year. This year it falls on my dad turn and my family host it in a Seafood Restaurant near my housing area in Alor Setar. For your informations some of my uncle stays in Sungai Petani and KL, that's why it's not weird if I happen to be in KL during Chinese New Year every 3 years.

As usual, yu sang will be the opening dish during Chinese New year. Well, this my first and last Yu Sang for the Chinese New Year but some might have 3/4 times or even more than that as I heard over twitter.

Anyway I'm not a fan (I'm dun like the taste actually) of Yu Sang, so I just have couple of bites for the tradition part.

Since this year my reunion dinner was held in Alor Star, we decided to make it even merry with the joining of my aunties uncle from my mommy side. They all from Alor Star which I spent most of life time with, not to mention I meet them at least once every week for the past 18 years in Alor Star.
